Tramping Himalaya Adventurers offers this grand great adventure for people with desire to be close to mountains in short times as per your limited holiday in Nepal, as this trek is does not involve high altitude that does not interfere with AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) as elevation gains slowly as walk progress day to day with scenic and magnificent views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal range of peaks.

Besides its exceptional panorama of mountains, dramatic landscapes including traditional village of colorful culture of Tamang people the hill tribe of Langtang areas interwoven with Buddhist religion.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: On arrival in Kathmandu meet our staff for transfer to hotel

On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport received by our staff and guide with warm welcome and greetings and then transfer to your hotels in the heart of Kathmandu city. After checking into your rooms getting refreshed from Jet-Lag, a quiet environment after getting refreshed join at main hall or in lobby where our guide will provide briefing on treks-hotels with necessary information. Evening includes group dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with folk culture program with various dances of Nepal while having your authentic Nepalese dinner with local entertainment.

Day 02: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m North of Kathmandu via Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs

Starting marvelous trek to Langtang valley, heading North West from Kathmandu taking an exciting overland drive past many farm villages and towns within low warmer valley of Trisuli Bazaar, and then towards cooler areas to reach at Dhunche, headquarter and administrative town of Rasuwa district within Langtang Himal. From here entering into Langtang National Park, our journey continues downhill on zig-zag winding road to reach at Syabrubesi village in a nice local lodge for overnight halt.

Day 03: Trek to Ghode Tabla 2,870 m past Lama Hotel 2,350 m - 08 hrs.

From Syabrubesi village, our first day walk begins on good path for short while, after crossing a bridge with slow climb up the ridge past farm terraces entering into cool lovely woodland to reach at Riverside place and then with more ups through deep forest of tall rhododendron-magnolia-oaks and pines with patch of bamboo groves to reach an open areas at Lama Hotel. A nice peaceful spot with number of lodges surrounded within green woodland and close to upper Trisuli River located in a gorge. After a pleasant overnight stop at Lama Hotel, morning walk leads following the river upstream within a deep gorge covered within green forest, where sometimes rare and endangered Red Panda and other wildlife often seen on walks. As walk continues reaching a small lovely spot at Ghodetabla (means a horse stable) for overnight stop, after a good and hard walks of 7-8 hours, Ghodetabla place with few Tea-Houses and lodges with small Nepal army camp serves as Langtang National park wardens.

Day 04: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,749m - 05 hrs

From Ghodetabla reaching at Langtang village, and then with short walk of few hours to reach our main highlight and destination to Kyanjin Gompa, located within beautiful Langtang valley as walk progress with touch of altitude gain encountering prayer walls of Buddhism religion. After hours of morning walks where gorge opens into a wide scenic valley as tree lines disappears for smaller alpine shrubs and bushes overlooking views of Langtang Himal range of peaks as our walks leads at Kyanjin Gompa for lunch and overnight stop. At Kyanjin Gompa enjoy views of Langtang Lirung (7,234 m), Ghengu Liru (Langtang II 6,571m), Kimshun (6,745 m) and Shalbachum(6,918m), Chimsedang, Naya-Kanga or Ganja Chuli (5,846m), Gangchempo, Tilman's beautiful Fluted Peak, Jugal Himal and Dorje Lakpa(6,980m). At Kyanjin visit the cheese factory which was built in early 1970’s with support of Swiss technical assistance.

Day 05: Trek to Syabrubesi - 08 hrs.

After a marvelous time at Kyanjin around scenic Langtang valley, return journey with downhill walk back into forested area to reach at Lama Hotel before reaching the road head at Syabrubesi village. Our last day walks lead back on the same route allowing with more time to enjoy its serene wilderness and lovely scenery on walks to Syabrubesi village.

Day 06: Drive to Kathmandu and then transfer to your hotels.

Morning after breakfast an exciting drive back to Kathmandu with views of mountains, green scenery of hills and farm fields driving past nice villages and towns as journey brings you back at hustle and bustle city life of Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu transfer to your respective hotels with time for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

Day 07: Depart for international flight home ward bound or to respective countries

Last day in the country of high and beautiful Himalayas as per your international flight transfer to Kathmandu international airport for homeward bound or to next port of call after a wonderful and mesmerizing time on Langtang Valley Express trekking with grand service of Tramping Himalaya Adventures.
