Tour of Dhulikhel & Namobuddha, leads you beyond Kathmandu valley rim towards east of mere distance of30 k.m. driving on Nepal-Tibet /China Friendship Highway, a wonderful short journey of less than two hours to hill town at Dhulikhel, located above 1,440 m high offering grand views of Ganesh-Langtang-Jugal Himal with Gaurishanker peaks includes mountains as far east of Everest range.

Beside mountain views famous for sunrise views over array of Himalayan peaks in the comfort of hotels-resorts of international standard facing incredible panorama of mountains, with time to explore more than 500 years old town of Dhulikhel inhabited by Newari people with some Tamang hill tribes.

At Dhulikhel enjoy artistic skill of Newar arts of great charm and beauty, where streets lined with bare-brick houses, carved wooden windows, sloping title roofs, pagoda temples and sacred statues everywhere. You will think you have wandered into a cultural theme park.

To reach Dhulikhel starting with a drive towards east of Kathmandu past Bhaktapur and then a slow climb up at place called Sanga with tall statue of Shiva, and then entering Banepa town to reach at Dhulikhel and transfer at respective hotels and mountain resorts.

After Dhulikhel catching morning sunrise and views of peaks a short drive leads to holy Buddhist areas at Namobuddha a sacred Buddhist spot, located in a serene environment a short drive south of Dhulikhel, one of the holiest places for Buddhist pilgrimage, this unsurpassable supreme sacred sites known as the Three Stupas in Nepalis Tagmo Lüjin “The place where future Buddha sacrificed his body to a tigress”.
