Trip Overview
Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli Climb lead you on top above 5,663 m / 18,575 ft high, one of the lesser trekking peaks below 6,000 meters, but quite challenging to reach its summit where one needs enough fitness and determination to tackled this fine peak called Tent or Tharpu Chuli.
One of the toughest trekking peaks of Nepal located within scenic Annapurna Sanctuary and beyond, where walk takes you from beautiful Pokhara city and its green valley surrounded by hills and mountains with serene lakes.
Beginning with driving journey to start our adventurous walks towards mid hills of Annapurna heading towards lovely villages of Jhinu and Chomrong populated by Gurung ethnic tribes of hill people with impressive culture and traditional life.
As walk progress entering into a gorge of Modi River following the river upstream to reach into a wide valley and a plateau at Annapurna Sanctuary, after leaving the tree lines and lush vegetation behind.
From Annapurna base camp our real adventure starts walking past glacier to reach our major destination at Tent Peak base camp, with time for preparation and acclimatization following our expert guides to reach its summit top.
On top facing mind-blowing views of mountains that encircles you feeling in high spirit descend back to the sanctuary for onwards journey to Pokhara and towards Kathmandu after an adventure of a lifetime experience on Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli Climb.

Note
Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli grade as TD means ‘Technical Difficule’ as per French / Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification, a straightforward climb and requires technical skill in most sections to tackle towards its rocky summit.
The name with tent shaped when looked from the sanctuary and base camp, the local and NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) name is Tharpu Chuli.
